Derbyshire Police and Fire Service – Joint Training Centre

A £10 million joint training centre for the emergency services in Derbyshire. Built at the site of the constabulary’s headquarters in Ripley, the premises include a new two-storey training building with an attached three double-bay vehicle garage and associated training buildings for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, along with fire behaviour simulation training facilities, training towers and search and rescue facilities.

BSP Consulting undertook a number of civil, structural and traffic and transport engineering roles on the scheme for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and Derbyshire Constabulary.

A new training building for Derbyshire Constabulary has also been completed on the site.
